2010 was one of the hardest years to grow in California. A cool summer did not yield mature crops until late. Close to harvest, a heat wave wiped out a vast amount of grapes not accustomed to the increase in temperature. Along with the rest of Northern California, Moretti Vineyard struggled through this time period but retained only ideal fruit for harvest.
